What disciplies of therapy does Dr. Tiara Watford serve?


Dr. Watford focuses primarily on disciplines that serve preventative/maintanence therapy, anxiety, depression, family, couples, and therapy for children. Dr. Watford and her team of professionals does not serve severe disorders such as schizophrenia and severe bipolar disorder.




How can I pay for my therapy services?


Our professionals, including Dr. Tiara Watford accept all major insurances (Medicare and Medicaid) as well as cash payments. It is important to note that all payments are due before your session begins if you are paying out of pocket. If you have any billing questions please get in touch with us directly so we are able to answer your unique questions.




How do I decide between virtual and physical sessions?


Currently, Dr. Watford offers physical sessions to those residing in the Chesapeake, Virginia and surrounding areas. If you are more than 30 minutes outside of the Chesapeake or surrounding areas then virtual therapy sessions would be appropriate. It is also important to note that virtual therapy may be best for you if:

  • You're still getting comfortable with providers while you establish your long-term therapy plan,
  • Have a busy or abnormal work schedule
  • Live more than 30 minutes outside of the Chesapeake, VA area.
